Why pay for a PTA membership?
Membership dues help pay for the total cost of our free events, keep paid events costs low, supplement field trips bus costs, supply teacher grants, and much more!
Why don't they cost less?
We are required to pay dues to Georgia and national PTA. Those total around $5 per membership. We use the remaining funds for our budget. Membership and sponsors income make up half of our less than $12,000 annual budget. The budget pays for all our supplies for events, office expenses like copies and banking, snack pantry...etc.

What's your child's house color?
Did they get house points recently?
PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports. Our goal is to celebrate the hard work and good behavior of all students, in order to create a positive environment for learning. Each student and staff member will be assigned a "house" color. Each house represents a different character trait that students will learn about all year long. Students will earn house points throughout the entire school day, by following The EJ Way, being respectful, and demonstrating the character traits of the houses. Each quarter we will have a "House Party" and celebrate the winning house and also recognize stand out students in all different areas! The ultimate goal is to promote and celebrate positive choices, in order to combat poor behavior choices before they happen.
